Arbetets museum, the Museum of Work, is in the process of developing a newexhibition. The work presented in this degree project is meant as a prospectiveexhibition component; an interactive station where the visitors can click and scrolltheir way through a picture story. With only a limited amount of text the usershould still be able to understand the content of the picture story and the interactivepart of the station because how the visual components of the picture are designed.The work is based of cognitive theories, like pop out effect, “just in time”strategies, gestalt laws and colour coding. Different ways to work with linethickness to help the user understand the visual components are also included.The visualisation is based mostly on theory and the results from different types ofanalysis. The target demographic is people age 11-12 and the work presented isabout making the comprehension of interactive pictures easier for said demographic. Arbetets museum i Norrköping är i förstadiet till att ta fram en utställning. Mittexamensarbete bidrar till en tilltänkt utställningsdel; en interaktiv station därbesökarna kan ta sig igenom en bildberättelse. Examensarbetet handlar om hur deinteraktiva bildelementet bör utformas för att ge användaren en förståelse förbildberättelsen och interaktionen, med endast knapphändig förklarande text.Teorierna som används i detta arbete är kognitiva teorier som pop-outeffekt,”steget före”-strategi, gestaltlagar och färgkodning. Olika sätt att användasig av linjetjocklekar för att hjälpa användaren att förstå bilder presenteras också.Gestaltningen baseras huvudsakligen på teori, samt resultatet av målgrupps- ochbildanalys. Målgruppen i detta examensarbete är 11-12 år gamla ochexamensarbetet handlar om att underlätta förståelsen för just denna målgrupp.
