Previous issue date: 2015-08-31 / As Metodologias de ensino podem ser definidas como elementos b?sicos de discuss?o da a??o docente, no ato de ensinar e apresentar o conte?do. Existem metodologias de ensino mais tradicionais com seus princ?pios mais voltados para decorar e o repetir, como tamb?m, metodologias ativas alicer?adas no principio da autonomia, e no desenvolvimento de compet?ncias. O objetivo do estudo ? compreender a percep??o dos docentes em rela??o ? ado??o das metodologias de ensino para o desenvolvimento de compet?ncias do turism?logo no curso de Turismo da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Para alcan?ar essa finalidade foi realizado um estudo de caso de natureza explorat?ria, com a aplica??o de um roteiro de entrevista semi-estruturado com 29 docentes do curso, selecionados por meio de uma amostra intencional, adotando-se a abordagem de an?lise qualitativa. Os resultados do trabalho apontaram que os docentes adotam mais um pluralismo metodol?gico, onde a escolha dessa metodologia ? proveniente do perfil da turma e do conte?do a ser ministrado em sala. Identificou-se ainda que as metodologias consideradas como sendo as mais apropriadas para a aplica??o no curso de turismo, foram as metodologias ativas . Em rela??o ?s principais dificuldades e desafios das estrat?gias pedag?gicas adotadas pelos docentes em sala de aula, evidenciou-se a desmotiva??o do discente, al?m da sua falta de compreens?o em rela??o a import?ncia de uma base te?rica e de leitura consiste para entender e desenvolver as pr?ticas de turismo, al?m de permitir a sua aplica??o pr?tica, contribuindo assim no desenvolvimento das compet?ncias. Por fim, os dados demonstraram que as metodologias de ensino, devem valorizar uma associa??o entre a teoria e a pr?tica, permitindo uma vis?o cr?tica do discente, contribuindo com o desenvolvimento de compet?ncias, principalmente com as habilidades necess?rias para a atua??o do turism?logo. / Teaching methodologies can be defined as basic elements of discussion through teaching activities, and the act of teaching and presenting content.There are more traditional teaching methods with its more focused principles to decorate and repeat, but also active methodologies grounded on the principle of autonomy and skill development can be used. The aim of the study is to understand the perceptions of teachers in relation to the adoption of teaching methodologies for the development of the tourism specialist skills in the course of Tourism of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. To achieve this purpose a case study is conducted in an exploratory nature, with the application of a semi-structured interview with 29 teachers in the course. They are selected through an intentional sample, adopting a qualitative analysis approach. Our results showed that the professors adopt more a methodological pluralism, where the choice of this method comes from the class profile and the content to be taught within the classroom.It is also identified that the methodologies considered are the most suitable for the application in the tourism course;the active methodologies. Also, regarding the main difficulties and challenges of pedagogical strategic that was adopted by teachers in the classroom, he presented the motivation of the student, in addition to their lack of understanding in relation the importance of a theoretical base and reading is to understand and develop practices through tourism, in addition to allow its practical application, thereby contributing to the development of skills.Finally, the data showed that the teaching methodologies, should value an association between theory and practice, allowing a critical view of students, contributing to the development of skills, particularly with the skills necessary for the performance of tourism specialist.
