Previous issue date: 2007-05-08 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The concept of transference within the theory left by Sigmund Freud, is of great importance because it is through its stablishment and interpretation that the analyst has the opportunity to gain access to the unconscious representatives of the analysed individual. The present work aims at investigating and studying the transference that arose during the psychotherapeutical process, according to Freud s lights. The clinical material is the result of a six-month therapy experience, in the environment of a private office. This work relies on the basis of the psychoanalysis as a theory of psychic matters, as well as a method of unconscious investigation and therapeutic technique. The author could gain access to the patient s history and singularity, as the subject of the unconscious, by means of the psychoanalytic method, made possible by the transference / O conceito da transferência, dentro da teoria legada por Sigmund Freud, é de grande importância, porque é por meio de sua instalação e de sua interpretação que o analista tem a possibilidade de ter acesso aos representantes inconscientes de seu analisando. O presente trabalho tem com objetivo investigar e estudar a transferência que se fez presente no processo psicoterápico de uma paciente, a luz da teoria legada por Freud. O material clínico é fruto de um recorte de seis meses de psicoterapia, no ambiente de um consultório particular. Esse estudo tem como fundamentação a psicanálise enquanto teoria sobre o psiquismo, método de investigação do inconsciente e técnica terapêutica. A presente autora pôde ter acesso à história e a singularidade da paciente, enquanto sujeito do inconsciente, através do método psicanalítico, possibilitado pela transferência
