FundaÃÃo de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Cearà / Atualmente as histÃrias em quadrinhos sÃo muito mais aceitas como produÃÃo artÃstica e cultural por parcelas cada vez maiores da sociedade, sendo tratadas como uma ferramenta didÃtico-pedagÃgica muito eficaz, possuindo a capacidade, atravÃs do seu currÃculo cultural, de divertir, transmitir uma forma de ser, sentir, viver e se comportar no mundo. Este trabalho analisa as revistas em quadrinhos distribuÃdas gratuitamente pelo Governo Federal Ãs escolas estaduais e municipais intitulada: EmÃlia e a Turma do SÃtio na cartilha da nutriÃÃo no Fome Zero. Um projeto do Programa Fome Zero, na qual o MDS â MinistÃrio do Desenvolvimento Social e Combate à Fome â estabeleceu um contrato com a Editora Globo, e contou com o apoio tÃcnico do FNDE (Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da EducaÃÃo) e dos MinistÃrios da SaÃde e da EducaÃÃo para produzir um material educativo com os personagens da Turma do SÃtio do Picapau Amarelo, abordando a importÃncia de uma alimentaÃÃo saudÃvel baseada em hÃbitos e produtos regionais, aliada à prÃtica regular de atividade fÃsica como condiÃÃes essenciais para a promoÃÃo da seguranÃa alimentar e nutricional. / Currently the stories in comics are much more accepted as artistic and cultural production by increasingly larger portions of society, being treated as an educational tool, teaching very effective, possessing the ability, through its cultural curriculum of fun, a way forward for be, feel, live and to behave in the world. This study examines the comic magazines distributed free to schools by the Federal Government and state and municipal entitled: EmÃlia e a Turma do SÃtio na cartilha da nutriÃÃo no Fome Zero. A project of the Zero Hunger Program, in which the MDS - Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger - has a contract with the Editora Globo, and had the technical support of FNDE (National Fund for Development of Education) and the Ministries of Health and Education to produce an educational material with the characters of the Turma do SÃtio do Picapau Amarelo, addressing the importance of healthy eating habits and based on regional products, coupled with regular practice of physical activity as essential conditions for the promotion of food security and nutrition.
