Thank you. / A 2x2x2x2 study (N=l51 undergraduates) tested the effects of: (a) nonverbal communication (Strong vs Weak), (b) verbal communic ation (Strong vs Weak ), (c) race of communicator (Black vs White), and (d) sex of perceiver, on person perception.
Overall results of both univariate and multivariate analyses indicated significant effects of: (1) nonverbal communic ation on the perception of "Leadership", "Empathy", "Wise-Man", and "Nice-Guy", (2) verbal communication on the perception of "Leadership", "Wise-Man", and "Nice-Guy", (3) race of communicator on perception of "Empathy", "Wise-Man", and "Nice-Guy", and (4) sex of perceiver on perception of "Leadership" and "Nice-Guy". / 2031-01-01
