Estes efeitos podem ser utilizados em vários processos industriais, tais como processos de resfriamento de componentes, de coleta de partícu-las em suspensão, entre outros. Quando utilizadas com as configurações apropriadas, as descargas corona e o fluxo eletrohidrodinâmico provêm melhorias nos processos que os utilizam. A simulação computacional destes efeitos tem se tornado cada vez mais impor-tante devido a sua grande aplicabilidade e à necessidade de um total entendimento destes, com o intuito de otimizá-los para o uso em processos industriais / Corona discharges and electrohydrodynamic flow generation have been addressed by numerous works. These effects could be useful in many industrial applications, such as processes of cooling components, collection of particles in suspension and others. With the appropriate configurations, the corona discharges and the electrohidrodynamic flows can enhance the processes that use them. The simulation analysis of these effects have become increasingly important because of its wide applicability and the need of a full understanding of these in order to optimize them for use in industrial processes
