Previous issue date: 2002 / Resumo: O SENAI, vem a algum tempo buscando uma forma moderna de gerenciamento, pois a atual ainda não é compatível com a nova realidade mundial. Para isso ele implantou em suas Escolas Técnicas o sistema denominado Centros Nacionais de Tecnologia (CENATEC). Este trabalho consiste em demonstrar que este programa baseado no modelo de gerenciamento criado pela Fundação para o Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade (FPQN), veio dar um norte para as Escolas. A Implantação foi o passo seguinte e a Unidade que serviu como referencia foi a Escola Nadir Dias de Figueiredo. A apresentação deste projeto demostrara o quanto a implantação interferiu na cultura organizacional, nos resultados operacionais e também na mudança da postura da gerencia, que deixou de ser reativa para assumir uma postura de parceiro e o choque que isto causou. No desenvolvimento do projeto será apresentado todos os passos necessários para a implantação até a certificação, as dificuldades que ocorreram e como foi o envolvimento das pessoas neste processo, inclusive utilizando dados do ano de 1997 como referenciais para análise, pois foi nesse período que houve a implantação do sistema. A proposta final é demonstrar quais foram os resultados obtidos, comparando-os com referenciais externos e quais foram os benefícios com a adoção deste método de gestão, justificando o quanto foi importante implantar os sistemas de qualidades nas Escolas e que os resultados obtidos são muito positivos / Abstract: SENAI, the comes some time looking for a modern form of administration, because the current is not still compatible with the new world reality. For that she implanted at their Technical Schools the system denominated National Centers of Technology (CENATECs). This work consists of demonstrating that this program based on the administration model created by the Foundation for the National Prize of the Quality (FPQN), it carne to give a north to the Schools. The Implantation was the following step and the Unit that it served as reference was Figueiredo Nadir Dias School. The presentation of this project will show the as the implantation interfered in the organizational culture, in the operational results and also in the change of the posture of the it manages, that it stopped being reactivates to assume a partner posture and the shock that this caused. In the development of the project it will be presented all necessary steps for the implantation until the certification, the difficulties that happened and as it was the people's involvement in this process. The final proposal is to demonstrate which were the obtained results, comparing them with
external references and which were the benefits with the adoption of this administration method, justifying it all is importance to implant systems of qualities in the Schools and that the results obtained are very positive / Mestrado / Gestão da Qualidade Total / Mestre em Engenharia Mecânica
