Previous issue date: 1993 / Resumo / Abstract: Lot-sizing multistage problems consist in the deterrnination of the quantities to be produced in different periods of time to meet forecast demando The model considers capacity restrictions on resources and product structure, i.e., the products may depend on the purchase or the production of certain components. The model presented uses the concept of echelon stock and includes setup cost and time to the ocurrence of production of certain components. A heuristic method is developed for solving the problem and computationally tested. The solution procedure includes Tabu Search techniques / Mestrado / Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica
