Esta tese objetiva estudar aplicações de sistemas lineares gerais de segunda ordem ao controle de sistemas. É mostrada fórmula para solução da equação evolutiva matricial de segunda ordem, tanto de tempo discreto como contínuo, e são descritos testes para a contolabilidade e observabilidade de sistemas modelados por equações deste tipo, desenvolvidos por J. c. R. Claeyssen. Somandose a isto A. G. Nowosad analisa algumas aplicações destes sistemas 'a engenharia aero-espacial, especialmente ao controle de satélites. / This thesis concerns the study of second-order general linear systems' applications to control systems. The authors show a formula for the solution of second-order matrix evolutive equations, both continuous and discrete-time, and tests for controlability and observability of systems modelled by these kinds of equations, developed by J . C. R. Claeyssen. Adding to this, A. G. Nowosad analyses some applications of these systems to aerospace engineering, specially satellite control .
