Precision Agriculture (PA) is an innovative technology that has proven to be an
important management tool in a rural enterprise. This study aims to estimate the total
amount of inputs such as limestone, phosphorus, potassium and sulfur in the
implementation by the average rate and the variable rate, to compare the costs of
buying these fertilizers for soybean plantation by the traditional method and the
method of PA and relate them to the costs of implementing the PA. To analyze the
costs of purchasing fertilizers we compared the technical recommendation based on
the average of each field of application and variable application rate based on soil
analysis extracted by a specialized company. It was saved $134.14/ha in the
acquisition of inputs, in other words, 19.86% of the necessary amount if we use
conventional farming. The implementation of PA practically pays itself in the first
year, since the initial cost of precision agriculture is $135,00/ha, in a farm with
planting area as the study. We can say that Precision Agriculture is a tool that can be
used strategically in the management of rural enterprises, as it is a source of
information that serves as basis for improving assertiveness of decisions in property
management. / A Agricultura de Precisão (AP) é uma tecnologia inovadora que tem se
mostrado como uma importante ferramenta de gestão de uma empresa rural. O
objetivo deste trabalho foi estimar a quantidade total dos insumos Calcário, Fósforo,
Potássio e Enxofre na aplicação pela média e na aplicação a taxa variável, comparar
os custos de aquisição destes fertilizantes para plantio da cultura da soja pelo
método tradicional e pelo método da AP, e relacioná-los com os custos de
implantação da AP. Para analisar os custos de aquisição dos fertilizantes
comparamos a recomendação técnica considerando a média de aplicação de cada
talhão e a aplicação a taxa variada com base em análises de solos extraídas por
uma empresa especializada. Na aquisição dos insumos tivemos uma economia de
R$134.14/ha, ou seja, 19,86% do montante necessário se utilizarmos a agricultura
convencional. A implantação da AP praticamente viabiliza-se no primeiro ano, já que
o custo inicial da agricultura de precisão é de R$135,00/ha, numa fazenda com área
de plantio como a da estudada. Podemos dizer que a Agricultura de Precisão é uma
ferramenta que pode sim ser usada estrategicamente na gestão da empresa rural,
pois é fonte de informações que servem de base para melhorar a assertividade das
decisões tomadas na gerência da propriedade.
