2010_FabríciaFaleirosPimenta.pdf: 1376976 bytes, checksum: 2dcf5ffd21e02b7075af187589dcf2c9 (MD5) / O presente trabalho tem como foco o estudo do Conselho Nacional dos Direitos da Mulher (CNDM), órgão governamental criado em 1985 para promover e estimular a participação do segmento feminino da sociedade civil junto ao governo federal. Procuramos entender como o contexto histórico-político influenciou a atuação política das ex-presidentas do Conselho, mulheres que foram protagonistas da história do CNDM e principais articuladoras das demandas feministas junto ao governo federal. Os limites cronológicos desta tese têm como recorte temporal a abrangência de atuação do CNDM em 20 anos: de 1985, data da criação deste órgão, a 2005, ano em que completa vinte anos de existência e resistência. O objetivo central consiste em conhecer os processos de criação, constituição e articulação do CNDM como cenário de interlocução entre Estado e sociedade civil, para entender se este espaço público foi criado para ser um instrumento de controle, estrategicamente concebido pelo aparato governamental para esvaziar o impacto dos movimentos feministas e de mulheres. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This work focuses the National Council of Woman´s Rights (CNDM), government agency created in 1985 to promote and encourage the participation of the female segment of the civil society with the federal government. We seek to understand how the historical and political contexts influenced the political activities of the former presidents of the CNDM, women who were protagonists of the story of the CNDM and most important articulators of the feminist’s demands by the federal government. The chronological limits of our research in this thesis covers the activities developed by CNDM in 20 years: of 1985, date of the creation of this Council, until 2005, when it completes twenty years of existence and resistance. The central objective is to understand the processes of creation, establishment and articulation of the CNDM as set for dialogue between Federal State and civil society, to understand if this public space was created to be an instrument of control, strategically designed by the governmental apparatus to empty the impact of the feminist’s movements and women’s movements.
