CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / Speaking of the news when they are happening, when experience is used and if it is not an easy task. However this paper will discuss issues related to social networking sites in order to contribute to research and education, especially regarding its use as an educational practice in IFPA â Campus Castanhal. This institution originated from the former Escola AgrotÃcnica Federal - ParÃ, which was part of an educational network. Agro-technical Schools, were established mostly in the interior regions of the country and have always lived on the banks of digital technologies, today with a very different reality. We talk about our experience in Campus Castanhal, discussed the use of social networks on the Internet by the campus community and the possibilities for use of images as educational practices and memory, this content often used in social networks. / Falar das novidades quando elas estÃo acontecendo, quando vivencia-se e utiliza-se nÃo à uma tarefa fÃcil. Entretanto discutiremos neste trabalho assuntos relacionados Ãs redes sociais na internet no sentido de contribuir com a pesquisa e com a educaÃÃo, principalmente referente a sua utilizaÃÃo como prÃtica educativa no IFPA â Campus Castanhal. Essa InstituiÃÃo originou-se da antiga Escola AgrotÃcnica Federal de Castanhal - ParÃ, a qual fazia parte de uma rede educacional. As Escolas AgrotÃcnicas, em sua maioria eram estabelecidas nas regiÃes interioranas do paÃs e sempre viveram Ãs margens das tecnologias digitais, hoje com uma realidade muito diferente. Falamos de nossa vivÃncia no Campus Castanhal, discutimos a utilizaÃÃo das redes sociais na internet pela comunidade do Campus e as possibilidades de utilizaÃÃo das imagens fotogrÃficas como prÃticas educativas e de memÃria, conteÃdo este muito utilizado nas redes sociais.
