Previous issue date: 2010-03-15 / Esta investigação fundamenta-se na identificação de bens patrimoniais nas polissemias que o
Patrimônio assume para os sujeitos patrimoniais diante dos processos de gestão,
patrimonialização e promoção de bens culturais. Tem como foco a identificação dos valores
culturais do lugar, na perspectiva do entrelaçamento entre patrimônio imaterial e material.
Aborda as relações entre os sujeitos patrimoniais – comunidades e especialistas – e a
significância dos bens culturais, expressas nas interlocuções destes sujeitos. Revela os valores
dos bens culturais e da relação entre as manifestações, as construções e o espaço, que dão
sentido de lugar ao Pátio do Carmo, ao Pátio do Terço e ao Pátio de São Pedro, situados no
Sítio Histórico de Santo Antônio e São José em Recife-PE. / The bottom-line of this research is the identification of cultural heritage in the polysemies that
Heritage represents to cultural subjects, mostly toward management processes,
patrimonialisation and promotion of cultural assets. The focus lies on the identification of
cultural values of the place, in the perspective of the blend of material and immaterial
heritage. The research approaches the relationship between the heritage players –
communities and specialists – and the significance of the cultural assets, expressed in terms of
the interaction among such players. It reveals the values of the cultural assets and the
relationship among public demonstrations, buildings and space, which provide a meaning of
place for Patio do Carmo, Patio do Terço and Patio de Sao Pedro, all of them located at the
Santo Antonio and Sao Jose Historic Site in Recife, State of Pernambuco, Brazil.
