Previous issue date: 2012-11-08 / Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior / This work aims to analyze, on the one hand, how the academy has created the spatial term the country of Mossor? and, on the other hand, is to discover, by the teachers testimony, how the History teaching works with this spatiality. The academic production in Mossor?-RN, particularly during the last two decades of the century XX, focuses on the practices that built a historic memory based on political interests of the Rosado family. Therefore, this work is divided in three chapters. In the first one, we identify how the academic production has created a group of meanings related to the country of Mossor? , because it is a way to realize how this place is seeing and understand. In the second one, there is an explanation about the ideology concepts, that structure meanings created by the academic production, as well as the historic conscience that is used to think about the dynamic of teaching History. In the third, we analyze how teachers, expressing their historic conscience, figure meaning to this country of Mossor? / O presente trabalho tem como meta analisar, por um lado, como uma produ??o acad?mica elaborou a espacialidade pa?s de Mossor? e, por outro, como o ensino de Hist?ria, atrav?s dos relatos de professores, se apropria desta espacialidade. A produ??o acad?mica, situada nas duas ?ltimas d?cadas do s?culo XX, tem como objeto as pr?ticas que institu?ram uma mem?ria hist?rica desej?vel que atende aos interesses pol?ticos da fam?lia Rosado. Diante desse quadro, dividimos o trabalho em tr?s cap?tulos. No primeiro, identificamos como a produ??o acad?mica criou um conjunto de significados em torno do pa?s de Mossor? , que oportuniza uma determinada maneira de ver e compreender o lugar. No segundo cap?tulo, fizemos uma discuss?o sobre os conceitos de ideologia, que estrutura os significados elaborados pela produ??o acad?mica, e de consci?ncia hist?rica, utilizado para pensar a din?mica do ensino de Hist?ria. No terceiro cap?tulo, analisamos como os professores, ao expressarem suas consci?ncias hist?ricas, constituem sentidos para esse pa?s de Mossor?
