Pacientes vitimadas por agressões apresentam distúrbios físicos, psicológicos e emocionais que interferem na integridade da saúde, resultando em sofrimento psíquico e adoecimento mental. Objetivo: Objetiva-se nesta tese verificar o impacto da violência na qualidade de vida das vítimas, analisando as consequências físicas e psíquicas das agressões exercidas contra elas. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, quantitativo, com dados provenientes de inquérito, onde foram avaliadas um total de 156 mulheres, num município de porte médio do Estado São Paulo, organizado em três artigos. No primeiro artigo, busca-se analisar a experiência de dez mulheres que sofreram violência física, atingidas na região da cabeça, face e pescoço, que tiveram como resultantes lesões graves ou gravíssimas. No segundo artigo, avalia-se as doenças e transtornos gerados pela exposição aos eventos traumáticos em 80 mulheres que registraram a ocorrência na Delegacia de Atendimento à Mulher e 66 que não foram violentadas e estavam em atendimento numa Unidade Básica de Saúde, estabelecendo uma comparação. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Introduction: Violence against women has become, in the last two decades, a multiple and complex phenomenon that requires studies and reflections that support the understanding of this circumstance. Patients victimized by aggressions present physical, psychological and emotional disturbances that interfere with health integrity, resulting in psychological distress and mental illness. Objective:The objective of this thesis is to verify the impact of violence on the quality of life of the victims, analyzing the physical and psychological consequences of the aggressions against them. Methodology:This is a cross-sectional, quantitative study with data from a survey, in which a total of 156 women wereevaluated in a medium size municipality in the State of São Paulo, organized in three articles. In the first article, the objective is to analyze the experience of ten women who suffered physical violence, affected in the region of the head, face and neck, resulting in serious or very serious injuries. In the second article, the diseases and disorders generated by the exposure to traumatic events were evaluated in 80 women who registered the occurrence at the Women's Assistance Station and 66 who were not raped and were attending a Basic Health Unit, establishing a comparison.
