Previous issue date: 2015-08-31 / Gest?o e Inova??o s?o duas palavras que se unem no contexto organizacional em prol do sucesso das empresas. A inova??o tornou-se componente essencial para o turismo e a ind?stria dos centros de confer?ncias e conven??es. Considerando os impactos dos centros de confer?ncias e conven??es no setor tur?stico e a constante inova??o como estrat?gia de vantagem competitiva da ?ltima d?cada, o presente trabalho utilizou a Gest?o de Inova??o como chave para o desafio de mudan?a no Centro de Conven??es de Natal. Os fatores em gest?o de inova??o para os centros de confer?ncias e conven??es foram investigados, atrav?s de informa??es na estrutura organizacional e tecnol?gica dos equipamentos, como o estado da arte da inova??o. Os principais aspectos da Gest?o de Inova??o que refletem na constru??o de ind?stria de reuni?es ? a capacidade de cria??o e transforma??o para os centros de confer?ncias e conven??es. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa explorat?ria descritiva, com m?todo de estudo de caso, que relacionou a gest?o de inova??o e o turismo para o Centro de Conven??es de Natal. Os resultados mostram que ainda inexiste no Centro de Conven??es de Natal, um n?vel de Gest?o de Inova??o insatisfat?rio, pois os planejamentos, lideran?as, capacidades, estrat?gias e implementa??es para processos inovadores hodiernamente s?o ausentes. / Management and innovation are two words that come together in the organizational context for the success of firms. Innovation has become an essential component for tourism and convention centers. Considering the impact of the meetings centers in the tourism sector and constant innovation as a competitive advantage strategy of the last decade, this study used the innovation management as a key to changing challenge in the center of Natal conventions. Factors in innovation management for meetings centers were investigated by means of information in organizational and technological structure of the equipment such as the state of the art innovation. The main aspects of innovation management reflecting in the meetings industry of construction is the ability to create and change to the conference and convention centers. It is a descriptive exploratory qualitative research with case study method, which relate to innovation management and tourism to Natal and Fortaleza conventions centers. The results show that there is still no at convention center of Natal , a satisfactory innovation management level, for the planning, leadership, skills, strategies and implementations for innovative processes in our times are absent.
