Studien har analyserat förskolan Havrens konkreta implementeringsarbete av den metodbok de utgår ifrån i arbetet med att bli en giftfri förskola. Studien har tagit upp de hinder som förskolepersonalen stött på under arbetets gång. Intervjuer med personalen på förskolan har gjorts för att undersöka hur de upplevt arbetet med metodboken och om de kunnat använda boken till det den är ämnad för. Ett kostnadsförslag för att göra två avdelningar på Havren giftfria enligt Naturskyddsföreningens kriterier för giftfri förskola har skapats. Vi satt vårt resultat av granskningen av implementeringsarbetet i ett nationellt perspektiv då vi undersökt om metodboken kan användas av andra förskolor runt om i Sverige. Intervjuerna med personalen på Havren visade att alla pedagoger inte läst metodboken. Alla i personalen upplevde inte metodboken som väl implementerad på förskolan. Projektet Giftfri förskola har både ekonomiska och hälsomässiga vinster för samhället. Kostnadsförslaget visar att kostnaden för att göra två avdelningar på Havren uppgår till 11093 kr. Förskolor med anbud till återförsäljare som erbjuder produkter som uppfyller Naturskyddsföreningens kriterier för giftfri förskola kan troligtvis använda sig av metodboken. / This study has analyzed the implementation of a method book that the preschool Havren is using to become a non-toxic preschool. We discuss the different obstacles and opportunities that the preschool has encountered during the implementation of the method book. Using interviews we examined how the staff working at Havren has experienced working with the methodbook and if they have been able to use the book for its intended purposes. The entire staff didn’t perceive the implementation of the methodbook as well implemented. An estimate has been made to see how much it would cost to convert Havren to non-toxic according to Naturskyddsföreningens criteria. Furthermore, we put our results in a national perspective by examining if the method book can be used by other preschool than Havren. The estimate to convert to of the departments at Havren to non-toxic showed that it would cost 11093kr to completely exchange all current toxic toys to non-toxic toys. A non-toxic preschool could have both economic and health related benefits for our society. We concluded that the method book probably can be used by any preschool as long as the book is implemented in a functioning way in the organisation and if the preschool has contracts with resellers that offer toys that fulfil Naturksyddsföreningen criterias for a non-toxic preschool.
