Previous issue date: 2016-02-15 / Fundo Mackenzie de Pesquisa / This study aims to investigate the history and the Peace Mission Acting in São Paulo. Through social assistance strategies especially among migrants, the paper aims to discuss possible actions in the social, political and religious. Here we will take as a methodological resource analysis Haitian migration to better define the fronts of Peace Mission. Developed by the Pastoral Center and Migrant Mediation (MEPC) in conjunction with the Migration Studies Center (CEM) and the migrant's home (CdM), the combination of these three units, resulted in São Paulo the Peace Project or Mission Peace, organized by the Scalabrinian Mission Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church entity based on the charisma of its founder the bishop and missionary John Battista Scalabrini, the which has as its principle the welcome service and social integration of migrant and refugee society. Using bibliographic and field research, the study will reflect on these principles of Peace Mission which makes her acting today come with migrants, here specifically Haitians. / O presente trabalho busca investigar a História e a Atuação da Missão Paz na cidade de São Paulo. Através das estratégias de assistência social principalmente entre migrantes, o trabalho visa discutir as possíveis atuações no campo social, político e religioso. Aqui tomaremos como recurso metodológico de análise a migração haitiana para melhor definirmos as frentes de atuação da Missão Paz. Desenvolvida pelo Centro Pastoral e de Mediação dos Migrantes (CPMM) em conjunto com o Centro de Estudos Migratórios (CEM) e a Casa do Migrante (CdM), a junção dessas três unidades, deu origem na cidade de São Paulo ao Projeto Paz ou Missão Paz, promovido pela Missão Scalabriniana Nossa Senhora da Paz entidade da Igreja Católica fundamentada no carisma do seu fundador o bispo e missionário João Batista Scalabrini, ao qual tem como princípio o serviço de acolhida e inserção social do migrante e do refugiado na sociedade. Utilizando-se da pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, o estudo refletirá acerca desses princípios da Missão Paz que faz com que ela venha atuando hoje junto aos migrantes, aqui especificamente haitianos.
