The lex certa principle. From the Italian Constitution to the European Convention on Human Rights

The dissertation deals with the need for a precise definition in law of criminal offences (lex certa), and it analyses the current state of this need in the Italian legal system, in the light of the influences deriving from the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
