Para tanto, elaboramos uma estratégia de ensino que procurou traduzir em situações educacionais concretas, o ensino para a cidadania, com o objetivo de investigar se compreensão da Primeira Lei de Newton por parte dos alunos, mediante uma interação dialógica entre alunos e professor, pode viabilizar a reflexão acerca da necessidade do uso do cinto de segurança para a preservação de sua própria vida e de outras pessoas. Os resultados desta pesquisa mostraram que a abordagem dialógica promovida em sala de aula viabilizou a compreensão da 1ª Lei de Newton por parte de alguns alunos, e que essa compreensão propiciou a reflexão sobre a necessidade do uso do cinto de segurança para a preservação da vida. Em relação á Física, os resultados obtidos na atividade avaliativa demonstraram que a estratégia de ensino foi significativa do ponto de vista da aprendizagem do conceito de Inércia, já que a maioria dos alunos obteve resultado satisfatório na avaliação escrita / In this work, we developed an physics teaching strategy which sought to make possible the education for citizenship. Therefore, we establish the main objective to verify if the comprehension of the First Newton's Law by the students, through a dialogic interaction between students and teacher, can facilitate the reflection about the need to use the sent belts for the preservation of his own life and others. The results os this research showed that the dialogical approach promoted in the classroom enabled the understanding of the First Newton's Law by the students and that this understanding led these students to reflection on the need to use of set belts for the preservation of life. Regarding Physics, the results obtained in this test demonstrated that the teaching strategy was significant from the viewpoint of learning of the concept of Inertia, since the most of students obtained satisfactory result in the writing test
