Previous issue date: 2017 / Esta dissertação apresenta uma análise sobre o uso do espaço sub-rogado no discurso narrativo em uma tradução de literatura infantil para língua brasileira de sinais (Libras). Este trabalho parte da ideia de que é preciso investigar como o tradutor articula seus membros a cada vez que corporifica um personagem. As discussões são inclinadas a descrever os eventos de partição do corpo do tradutor e a incorporação. Para estudar produções especificamente em discursos sinalizados, temos como base Dudis (2004, 2007, 2011), que analisa discursos em língua de sinais americana (ASL) e estuda especificamente a partição do corpo em língua de sinais, dando continuidade aos estudos de Liddell; McCleary & Viotti (2010, 2011, 2014), que analisaram narrativas em libras. Através do software ELAN - Eudico Linguistic Annotator foi possível transcrever dados coletados de um sujeito surdo. O objetivo desta pesquisa é dar início à descrição de padrões de uso do corpo nos espaços sub-rogados, parte da teoria de espaços mentais (Fauconnier, 1994 [1985]; Fauconnier & Turner, 1998). Busquei identificar semelhanças entre o uso do corpo do tradutor ao corporificar cada personagem da história. Com os estudos empíricos realizados e a construção e uma transcrição da narrativa, foi possível (i) Analisar ocorrências de partição do corpo e de incorporação total com os personagens da narrativa, (ii) Analisar como o rosto, o olhar, o tronco e as mãos são usadas durante a tradução e assim, refletir sobre o espaço de sinalização, para construir, representar e caracterizar os personagens da história. / Abstract : This dissertation presents an analysis of the use of Surrogate Space in narrative discourse in a translation of children's literature into Brazilian sign language (Libras). This work is based on the idea that it is necessary to investigate how the translator articulates its members each time it embodies a character. The discussions are inclined to describe the partitioning events of the body of the translator and an embodiment. With the aim to study specifically productions about signed discussions were rely on Dudis (2004, 2007 and 2011) which analysis speeches on American sign language (ASL) and studies specifically a partition of the body in sign language, giving continuity to the studies of Liddell; McCleary & Viotti (2010, 2011 and 2014), who analyzed narratives in Libras. Through the software ELAN - Eudico Linguistic Annotator it was possible to transcribe data collected from a deaf individual. (Fauconnier, 1994, Fauconnier & Turner, 1998). The purpose of this research is to begin the description of patterns of use of the centers in the Surrogate Spaces, part of the theory of mental spaces. We searched for identifies marks at the body of the translator to the corporate each character at the story. With empirical studies and the construction of a transcription of the narrative, it was possible to: (I) analyze the occurrence of body partitioning and total incorporation with the characters of the narrative; (II) analyze how the face, the look, the trunk and the hands and the transactions of the narrative, the look, the trunk and the hands are used during a translation and therefore reflect on the signaling space to construct, represent and characterize the characters of the story.
