enquanto alegoria para o estudo das formas de explora??o no mercado de trabalho, uma
vez que encarna os atributos de atividade sem regula??es p?blicas e salvaguarda de
direitos, essencialmente dom?stica e mal remunerada. Neste sentido, a Venda Direta
(VD) como arranjo ocupacional voltado para a inser??o feminina abriga estas
caracter?sticas, especialmente no cen?rio p?s reestrutura??o produtiva. Portanto, esta
pesquisa se prop?s a compreender como trabalhadoras desta atividade em espec?fico
desenvolvem os sentidos e significados do seu trabalho. Utilizou-se o arcabou?o
te?rico-metodol?gico da Teoria da Atividade, especificamente o proposto por
Engestrom fundamentado na Psicologia Hist?rico-Cultural de Vygostky, e o processo de
significa??o do trabalho, ao entender que os sentidos, os significados e a atividade s?o
construtos integrados que organizam o desenvolvimento psicol?gico. Esta pesquisa teve
car?ter explorat?rio e compreensivo, de desenho misto e se objetivou a entender como
se processa a significa??o atrav?s das media??es que atravessam a atividade de VD em
seus termos reais e concretos em duas fases concomitantes. Participaram da pesquisa
270 trabalhadoras em sua primeira fase e 6, em sua segunda fase. Nestas, foram
aplicados question?rio socioprofissional e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os dados
produzidos foram analisados atrav?s das estrat?gias de estat?stica descritiva, al?m de
An?lise de Conte?do Tem?tica Os resultados indicam a interrela??o entre os
componentes da atividade e a constru??o da significa??o, especialmente aos n?veis do
sujeito e objeto da atividade. / Understood as the locus of precariousness, female labor has established itself as an
allegory for the study of forms of exploitation in the labor market, since it embodies the
attributes of activity without public regulations and the protection of rights, essentially
domestic and poorly paid. In this sense, the Direct Selling (VD) as an occupational
arrangement aimed at the female insertion incorporates these characteristics, especially
in the scenario after productive restructuring. Therefore, this research aims to
understand how the workers of this specific activity develop the senses and meanings of
their work. This study is based on the theoretical-methodological framework of the
Theory of Activity, advocated by Engestrom on Vygotsky's Historical-Cultural
Psychology, and the process of meaning making, were used to understand that the
senses, meanings and activity are integrated constructs that organize psychological
development. This research was exploratory and comprehensive, with a mixed design
and aimed to understand how meaning are processed through the mediations that cross
the VD activity in its real and concrete terms in two concomitant phases. This research
included 270 female workers in their first phase and 6 in their second phase. In these, a
socio-professional questionnaire and semi-structured interviews were applied. The
results indicate the interrelation between the components of the activity and the
construction of the meaning, especially at the levels of the subject and object of the
activity.
