<p>Abstract</p><p>This report discusses how the intranet as a communication tool can be</p><p>developed to become a daily work tool. An intranet can help the organization to get information out to the employees fast, and the employees can choose when they want to take part of the information. This report also discusses how the functions and the presented information can be developed to be even better. The proposals has been developed out from information gathered from a survey,</p><p>the people who has answered the survey has been given their point of view of the intranet, and also proposals for improvements, which we have implemented in to our theory part. There is no company or organization that uses the exact same intranet solution. An intranet is something that is developed on the basis of the companies and the users specific goals and needs. It is important to let the users</p><p>be a part of the creating of the intranet so they can feel that they are a part of the new technique and the common communication tool.</p><p>The survey, which this report is based on, was performed at the company. The company intranet has been in use since April 2005.</p> / <p>Abstrakt</p><p>Denna rapport tar upp hur kommunikationsverktyget intranät ska kunna</p><p>utvecklas till att bli ett dagligt arbetsverktyg. Med hjälp av ett intranät kan företaget snabbt få ut aktuell information till sina anställda och de anställda kan i sin tur själva välja när de vill ta del av informationen. Denna rapport tar även upp hur de funktioner och den information som finns presenterad kan utvecklas för att bli bättre. Dessa förslag har bland annat tagits fram med hjälp av en</p><p>enkätundersökning, det vill säga de som har besvarat enkäten har gett sina synpunkter på intranätet och då också förslag på förbättringar, vilket vi har kopplat samman med teoriavsnittet.</p><p>Det finns inget företag eller organisation som använder sig av exakt samma intranät. Ett intranät är något som utvecklas utifrån företagets och användarnas specifika önskemål samt behov. Det är viktigt att låta användarna vara med vid skapandet av intranätet för att de ska få känna sig delaktiga i den nya tekniken</p><p>och det gemensamma kommunikationsverktyget. Den undersökning som ligger till grund för denna rapport är gjord på Företaget. Vi har utgått från det intranät som företaget nu använder sig av,</p><p>vilket togs i bruk april 2005.</p>
