<p>To take part in a summer hockey camp during the summer vacation is something that is very popular. This study is carried out through parents of ice-hockey active children in the south of Sweden. The main purpose of this study is to investigate for which reasons parents might let their children participate in a summer hockey camp. It is also studied which parts of the contents in a camp that is considered important by the parents and how much they are willing to pay for a week. To answer this, were an inquiry send out to 86 respondents. The results from the inquiry showed that the hockey practice were not the only reason to take part of a summer hockey camp, beside this were the second most important reason of a more social kind. It is important that there are other activities arranged, for example soccer or swimming during the day. Finally is it important that it is arranged evening activities for the kids, for example a barbecue and why not invite the parents to take part of this. Beside this the inquiry also shows that parents are willing to pay rather much for their kids to take part in a summer hockey camp.</p>
