Previous issue date: 2017-10-30 / This dissertation aims to unveil the repression the LGBT Community suffered during the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, as well as the ways through witch they resisted. Furthermore, this research verifies the first efforts for the adoption of an LGBT perspective, within the still incipient Brazilian transitional process. Lastly, this study reports the escalation of violence against LGBT people within the democractic period from the authritarian legacies of the dictatorship, which reinforced prejudice and LGBTphobic violence. / O presente trabalho est? vinculado ? linha de pesquisa Viol?ncia, Crime e Seguran?a P?blica, do Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Ci?ncias Criminais da Pontif?cia Universidade Cat?lica do Rio Grande do Sul. A pesquisa tem como objetivo desvelar a repress?o, bem como a resist?ncia das pessoas LGBT durante a ditadura civil-militar brasileira. Ademais, este trabalho verifica os primeiros esfor?os para ado??o de um recorte LGBT, no ainda incipiente processo justransicional brasileiro. Por fim, este estudo relata a escalada da viol?ncia contra LGBTs na democracia, a partir dos legados autorit?rios da ditadura, a qual refor?ou o preconceito e a viol?ncia LGBTf?bicos.
