Entendemos por aposições restritivas sintagmas nominais desprovidos de preposição, como o poeta Drummond, a cor azul, FHC presidente, e providos com a preposição de, como a cidade de São Paulo, o conceito de proletariado, o mês de janeiro. Como objetivos gerais, pretendemos i) estabelecer a nuclearidade das aposições restritivas sem e com de; ii) verificar as estratégias discursivas que o falante emprega no uso dessas estruturas; iii) determinar como as estratégias discursivas motivam os usos dos subtipos morfossintáticos; e iv) identificar se há parâmetros de formulação e de codificação que oponham e/ou aproximem as aposições restritivas sem e com elemento de ligação. Para tanto, assentamos nossas bases teóricas na Gramática Discursivo-Funcional (HENGEVELD; MACKENZIE, 2008), que permite verificar, de forma adequada, a constituição das aposições e de suas funções em relação aos níveis e camadas postulados pelo modelo, e nos trabalhos de Keizer (2005a; 2005b; 2007), que tratam especificamente desse fenômeno, identificando estratégias discursivas para o uso das aposições. A análise dos dados indicou que o núcleo prototípico das construções é o primeiro elemento nominal, restando ao segundo a função de modificar o primeiro de maneira restritiva. Além disso, os dados apontam que a estratégia descritivamente identificadora é a mais frequente e que determinadas estratégias discursivas mobilizam... / Abstract: This work focuses on close appositions in written Portuguese. Close appositions are understood here as noun phrases without a preposition, as in o poeta Drummond (the poet Drummond), a cor azul (the blue color), FHC presidente (FHC president) and the ones with the preposition de (of), as in a cidade de São Paulo (the city of São Paulo), o conceito de proletariado (the concept of proletariat), o mês de janeiro (the month of January). The general objectives of this research are: (i) to establish the headedness of close appositions with and without the preposition de; ii) to verify which discursive strategies the speaker applies to the use of the structures; iii) to determine how the discursive strategies motivate the uses of the morphosyntactic subtypes; and iv) to identify the formulation and the coding parameters that oppose and/or approximate close appositions with and without linking element. The theoretical support to this investigation is the theory of the Functional Discourse Grammar (HENGEVELD; MACKENZIE, 2008), which allows an adequate verification of the constitution and the functions of the appositions in each level and layer postulated by the model, and the works of Keizer (2005a; 2005b; 2007), which deal with this phenomenon specifically, identifying discursive strategies for the uses of appositions.
