A presente dissertação é fruto de muita leitura e de muita reflexão teórica e prática a partir da literatura publicada, que aborda a história, o desenvolvimento, a produção e também as ações de liberdade na produção em Leitura, Escrita e Língua de Sinais. Este trabalho tem como objetivo geral da pesquisa identificar os elementos que constituem a compreensão e a produção dos textos em escrita de sinais, os quais contribuíram para a elaboração desta dissertação. Os objetivos específicos desta pesquisa foram seis: (1) comparar crianças, que estão aprendendo a ler e escrever a Língua de Sinais, com adultos universitários aprendendo a ler e escrever Língua de Sinais; (2) comparar surdos e ouvintes universitários, que estão aprendendo a ler e escrever a Língua de sinais; (3) identificar quais os elementos que constituem a leitura de um sinal escrito (as configurações de mãos, os movimentos, a marcação não-manual, a marcação do espaço, a pontuação); (4) identificar quais os elementos que são produzidos em um sinal escrito; (5) analisar a relação da consciência fonológica com a produção dos textos escritos em sinais; (6) analisar a estrutura de um texto produzido em escrita de sinais considerando aspectos da coesão e da coerência. Tais objetivos contribuíram para o aprendizado da referida escrita e leitura, como também, na análise das observações e pesquisas realizadas através de questionários, aplicados nas citadas categorias, em sala de aula. A partir dos resultados obtidos, foram identificados importantes elementos, como: organização de textos, facilitadores de comunicação dos leitores, respostas relevantes e, principalmente, a produção criativa de cada sujeito que contribuiu para alcançar o principal objetivo específico desta dissertação, ou seja, a forma e o método do lúdico a ser adotado na alfabetização de pessoas em "Escrita de Sinais". / The signwriting is a system that records the sign language as the first language used by deaf people and so can be called, in some cases, the second language used by hearing individuals. This dissertation is the result of a lot of reading and a lot of theoretical and practical reflection from the published literature, which covers the history, development, production and also the actions of freedom in the production in Reading, Writing and Sign Language. This work general goal of the research is to identify the elements that compose the comprehension and production of texts in signwriting, which contributed to the preparation of this dissertation. There were six specific objectives in this research: (1) compare children who are learning to read and write in sign language with adult college students learning to read and write in Sign Language, (2) compare deaf and hearing college students who are learning to read and write the Sign Language, (3) identify the elements that constitute the reading of a written sign(hand configurations, movements, non-manual marking, the marking of space, punctuation), (4 ) to identify which elements are produced in a written sign, (5) analyze the relationship of phonological awareness with the signwriting texts production, (6) analyze the structure of a text produced in signwriting considering aspects of cohesion and coherence. These goals contribute to the learning of that referred writing and reading, as well in the analysis of the observations and researches conducted through questionnaires administered in the mentioned categories, while in the classroom. From the results obtained, we identified important elements such as: text organizing, facilitating communication of readers, relevant answers, and especially the creative output of each individual which contributed to achieve the main specific goal of this dissertation, that is the form and method of the ludic to be adopted in the literacy of people in "SignWriting."
