A bio-bibliographic study of Mari Sandoz and her works was chosen as the theme of this paper for several reasons. In the first place, the vast amount of historical and sociological material found in her books and articles is of personal and national interest. In the second place, the writings of Mari Sandoz suggest many topics for further study.
