A metodologia assumida para a realização da investigação foi a da Pesquisa Qualitativa Fenomenológica, percorrendo o caminho em busca do sentido do fenômeno estudado e também do entendimento de nós mesmos, abrindo, assim, possibilidades de compreender o próprio ser humano. Nesse caminhar fomos orientados pela interrogação como se dá a produção do conhecimento em grupos de pesquisa em educação matemática? Para darmos conta dessa interrogação, estudamos textos de autores da área da Educação Matemática e da Filosofia que tratam dos temas relacionados à produção de conhecimento em um coletivo ou na comunidade e ouvimos coordenadores de grupos de pesquisa que trabalham na área da Educação Matemática. Realizamos dez entrevistas com pesquisadores líderes de grupos de pesquisa instituídos no Brasil há mais de dez anos, que apresentam orientações de doutoramento concluídas. As entrevistas foram gravadas em áudio e posteriormente transcritas. Mediante esse procedimento, obteve-se um texto que expõe o discurso de cada entrevistado, tendo-se obtido, desse modo, dez textos escritos. O movimento de análise fenomenológica consistiu-se em dois momentos: a Ideográfica e a Nomotética. No primeiro, analisamos e interpretamos os textos constituídos das entrevistas. No segundo moment... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This research aims to understand the ways in which the production of knowledge in mathematics education are given among members of research groups in post-graduation programs, which are dedicated to studies in this area. The methodology assumed to carry out the research was the Phenomenological Qualitative Research, walking the path in search of the meaning of the phenomenon studied and also the understanding of ourselves, thereby opening up possibilities to understand the human being. In this walk we were guided by the question "how is the production of Mathematics Education knowledge in research groups?". To achieve this question we had studied texts of authors belonging to the area of Mathematics Education and to the area of Philosophy, dealing with issues related to the production of knowledge in a collective or in a community and we had heard coordinators of research groups working in the field of Mathematics Education. We interviewed ten researchers leading research groups established in Brazil for more than ten years, who have already guided doctoral students. The interviews were audio-recorded and later transcribed. By this procedure, there was created a text showing the speech of each subject, yielding thereby ten written texts. The movement of phenomenological analysis consisted in two stages: the Ideographic and the Nomotetic. In the first one, we analyze and interpret the texts composed of interviews. At the second time we seek to transcend the individual data of a deponent by exposing some particular interpretations, entering towards their joints while exposing the understanding of the senses and meanings increasingly comprehensive.
