2010_ÁpiodeAraújoConte.pdf: 505892 bytes, checksum: 7aa9354277c8cfcd4a2d8d6d27cc1945 (MD5) / A dissertação tem por objetivo medir os custos sociais e das famílias devidos a doenças respiratórias relacionadas à poluição atmosférica proveniente da frota de veículos na cidade do Gama no Distrito Federal. A utilização da combustão interna em veículos remonta há mais de um século e seus efeitos deletérios são potencializados pela queima de biomassa tanto na preparação da terra para cultivo quanto no desmatamento visando à atividade agropecuária. A poluição do ar afeta a saúde das pessoas, e como consequência, advém doenças que agregam danos econômicos e financeiros. Esses danos expressos em custos, não são internalizados na função de produção das firmas e nem no Produto Interno Bruto das nações. O trabalho procura avaliar esses custos econômicos dentro de uma moldura conceitual multidisciplinar (histórica – química – econômica), construída por modelagem matemática para uma função que agrega os custos de tratamento de pessoas com doenças respiratórias internadas em hospitais públicos. A obtenção da função custo para as famílias envolve um levantamento do perfil sócio-econômico das pessoas que foram internadas no Hospital Regional do Gama (HRG), em 2004, para tratar de doenças respiratórias. O HRG é um hospital público considerado referência no tratamento de doenças do aparelho respiratório no DF, e está localizado na cidade do Gama. Os custos de tratamentos das doenças respiratórias foram obtidos utilizando-se o conjunto de dados tabulados no sistema de controle de custos do HRG. Com relação aos custos das famílias, a função de custo foi modelada sobre uma base de dados obtidos de um questionário aplicado às pessoas afetadas por alguma forma de doença respiratória, internadas no HRG. Embora não se tenha realizado análise de correlação estatística entre doenças respiratórias e poluição do ar, neste trabalho, os diversos estudos apresentados desenvolvidos nas décadas de 80, 90 e 2010, indicam alguma relação entre poluição do ar e doenças respiratórias. Os resultados dessa pesquisa na cidade do Gama são significativos neste aspecto. Ao final, apresentam-se alguns enfoques visando minimizar os danos da poluição do ar. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The dissertation has for objective to measure the social costs and of the families due the related respiratory illnesses to the atmospheric pollution proceeding from the fleet of vehicles in the city of Gama in the Federal District. The use of the internal combustion in vehicles retraces has a century more than and its deleterious effect are more powerful by the burning of biomass in such a way in the preparation of the land for culture how much in the deforestation aiming at to the farming activity. The pollution of air affects the health of the people, and as consequences, happens illnesses that add economic and financial damages. These express damages in costs, are not internalizations in the function of production of the firms and nor in the Gross domestic product of the nations. The work looks for to evaluate these economic costs inside of a conceptual frame to multidiscipline (historical - chemical - economic), constructed for mathematical modeling for a function that adds the costs of treatment of people with interned respiratory illnesses in public hospitals. The attainment of the function cost for the families involves a survey of the partner-economic profile of the people who had been interned in the Regional Hospital of Gama (HRG), in 2004, to deal with respiratory illnesses. The HRG is a public hospital considered reference in the treatment of illnesses of the respiratory device in the DF, and is located in the city of Gama. The costs of treatments of the respiratory illnesses had been gotten using the data set tabulated in the system of control of costs of the HRG. With relation to the costs of the families, the cost function was shaped on a database gotten of a questionnaire applied to the people affected for some form of respiratory illness, interned in the HRG. Although if it has not carried through correlation analysis statistics between respiratory illnesses and pollution of air, in this work, the diverse studies presented developed in the decades of 80, 90 and 2010, they indicate some respiratory relation between pollution of air and illnesses. The results of this research in the city of Gama are significant in this aspect. To the end, some approaches are presented having aimed at to minimize the damages of the pollution of air.
