Boverkets statistik visar att bygg- och fastighetssektorn står för cirka 10 till 30 procent avmiljöpåverkan i Sverige från svensk produktion. Byggbranschen har en stor utmaning att minska sinmiljöbelastning och miljöcertifiering går ut på att den ställer högre miljökrav än vad Boverketsföreskriver. Även innehållsdeklarationen och miljöbedömning av byggvaror har blivit ett viktigtområde inom miljöarbetet för bygg- och fastighetsbranschens aktörer. Det är inte bara stat ellerkommuner som ska behöva ta ansvar för att minska miljö- och klimatproblemen i Sverige utan det äräven näringslivet, och däribland byggbranschen, som har ett stort eget ansvar.Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka byggsektorns inverkan på miljön utifrån vilket system valdaföretag använder för miljöcertifiering av sina byggnader samt att undersöka hur byggsektornsmiljöpåverkningar kan minska genom att använda sig av certifieringssystem. Studien avser att utforskaskillnader mellan olika systems användning för att få kännedom om huruvida något av systemen ärmer gynnsamt ur miljösynvinkel än övriga, och därmed har fördelar framför de övriga utifrån etthållbarhetsperspektiv.Den här studien har visat att de olika certifieringssystem som används idag, både nationellt likväl sominternationellt, har vissa gemensamma nämnare medan det också är faktorer som skiljer dem åt.Systemen avser alla att öka antalet miljöbyggnader och minska miljöpåverkan men de inriktar sig påolika huvudområden. Även i vilken utsträckning de används, och var, skiljer sig åt länder emellan.BREEAM och LEED är mer heltäckande system än Miljöbyggnad.Studien kan konstatera att miljöfrågan är en viktig och prioriterad fråga inom byggbranschen idag ochcertifieringssystemen bidrar till minskad miljöpåverkan. Dessutom så har systemen potential attutvecklas till att omfatta fler områden, så som energi- och klimatfrågor. Studien visade emellertid atthanteringen i certifieringen borde förenklas och att systemen kan komma att få än större inverkan iframtiden genom att bli mer heltäckande i miljöfrågor. / According to the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, statistics show that theconstruction and real estate sector accounts for about 10 to 30 percent of the environmental impactin Sweden from Swedish production. The construction industry has a major challenge to reduce itsenvironmental impact and environmental certification means that it sets higher environmentalrequirements than what the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's building regulationsprescribe. The content declaration and environmental assessment of construction products have alsobecome an important area in the environmental work for players in the construction and real estateindustry. It is not only the state or municipalities that will need to take responsibility for reducingenvironmental and climate problems in Sweden, but it is also the business community and, amongother things, the construction industry that has a great deal of personal responsibility.The purpose of this work is to investigate the construction sector's impact on the environment basedon which system selected companies use for environmental certification of their buildings and toinvestigate how the construction sector's environmental impacts can be reduced by using certificationsystems. The study aims to explore differences between different system uses to find out whether oneof the systems is more favourable from an environmental point of view than other systems and thushas advantages over the others from a sustainability perspective.This study has shown that the different certification systems used today, both nationally andinternationally, have certain common denominators while there are also factors that differentiatethem. The systems are all intended to increase the number of environmental buildings and reduce theenvironmental impact, but they focus on different main areas. Also, to what extent they are used, andwhere, differ from country to country. BREEAM and LEED are more comprehensive systems thanMiljöbyggnad.The study points out that the environmental issue is an important and prioritized issue in theconstruction industry today and certification systems contribute to reduced environmental impact. Inaddition, the systems have the potential to be developed to cover more areas, such as energy andclimate issues. However, the study showed that the management of the certification should besimplified and that the systems may have an even greater impact in the future by becoming morecomprehensive in environmental issues. / <p>Betyg 2021-06-04</p>
