We Looked at a Faraway Tree : Narrativ Samverkan Mellan Ljud och Bild

This scientific report explores the connection between auditory and visual storytelling as it describes the process of the making of a collection of six respective pieces of music all portraying a cohesive narrative. To find the best understanding of this subject these questions have been asked: - How can a narrative be portrayed through auditory means? - If visuals are included, will people react differently?
The different stages of work for this project have been divided in a number of categories such as dramatic structure, work process, thematics, sound, visuals and investigations of how people would interpret and approach the results. Through this process an effective method for telling a story through sound was reached, and peoples’ reactions of the material proved that the visuals managed to add merit to the result, as well.
