Previous issue date: 2013-07-06 / PROQUALI (UFJF) / Este trabalho analisa as questões técnicas e interpretativas referentes ao uso violino na música popular brasileira. O objeto deste estudo será a peça Fafá em Holllywood, composta por Fafá Lemos, que será analisada por meio de duas interpretações. A primeira gravação integra o álbum Fafá e seu Violino com Surdina (1955), interpretada por Fafá Lemos. A segunda é encontrada em uma das faixas do fonograma Na Lapa gravado pelo violinista Nicolas Krassik. Analisaremos os recursos técnico-interpretativos empregados por Lemos e Krassik, investigando a presença de elementos da música popular brasileira e da música estrangeira nas duas gravações, tanto em termos composicionais como interpretativos. Posteriormente, através dessas informações, estabeleceremos uma discussão sobre como ocorre a aplicação dos elementos técnicos e interpretativos do violino na música popular brasileira. / This paper analyzes the technical and interpretative issues that involve the use of the violin in Brazilian popular music. The object of this study will be the piece Fafá in Hollywood, written by Fafá Lemos. Two different interpretations of the piece will be submitted to comparative analisys. The first one belongs to the album Fafá Lemos e seu violino com surdina (1955), played by Fafá Lemos. The second is part of the Nicolas Krassik’s CD, Na Lapa (2004). We will analyze the technical and interpretative resources used by Lemos and Krassik in these recordings, investigating the presence of elements of Brazilian popular music and foreign music in these phonograms, both in terms of composition and interpretation. Subsequently, through this information we will discuss about the application of technical and interpretative elements of the violin in Brazilian popular music.
