Seminario para optar al título de Ingeniero Comercial, Mención Economía / This paper analyses the fairness in financial contribution in the Chilean health system. Using the World Health Organization methodology for the World Health Report 2000 and the new versions of this methodology developed by Ke Xu in 2005 and Adam Wagstaff in 2002 we conclude that the fairness in financial contribution to the health system has been improved between 2007 and 2012, but is not sufficient to transform de system into a fair system. This shows that the policies made in this years help, but won't be truly effective until the financing structure of the system changes
