CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento CientÃfico e TecnolÃgico / Este trabalho teve por objetivos avaliar frutos de muricizeiros (Byrsonima dealbata), oriundos de diferentes genÃtipos, por meio da caracterizaÃÃo fÃsica e fÃsico-quÃmica. Os frutos utilizados no experimento foram provenientes de campos experimentais da Embrapa AgroindÃstria Tropical. Analisou-se 18 genÃtipos de muricizeiros, dos quais sete foram oriundos do municÃpio de Pacajus (PAC0, PAC1, PAC2, PAC3, PAC5, PAC6, PAC7), quatro do municÃpio de Fortaleza (EM1, EM3, EM4, EM5) e sete do municÃpio de Paraipaba (PAR3, PAR4, PAR5, PAR7, PAR 9, PAR 11 e PAR 12), todos no Estado do CearÃ. Para avaliaÃÃo do potencial comercial dos genÃtipos foram realizadas anÃlises estatÃsticas uni e multivariadas. O genÃtipo EM4 apresentou maior peso. Para todos os genÃtipos de muricizeiros estudados, exceto EM3, observou-se que o diÃmetro à maior que o comprimento, caracterizando frutos oblongos. A mÃdia geral para vitamina C foi de 61,58 mg/100 g. De modo geral, o fruto à Ãcido, contÃm elevado teor de aÃÃcares solÃveis totais, amido, pectina total e solÃvel e baixo teor de carotenÃides e flavonÃides amarelos. As caracterÃsticas fÃsico-quÃmicas analisadas apresentaram altos coeficientes de determinaÃÃo e coeficientes de repetibilidade de intermediÃrios a altos, tendo, portanto, baixo nÃmero de mediÃÃes necessÃrio para prediÃÃo do valor real da caracterÃstica. Os elevados valores das estimativas de repetibilidade sÃo indicativos de que existe variabilidade genÃtica observada nesse germoplasma. A anÃlise de agrupamento, feita por meio da otimizaÃÃo de Tocher, a anÃlise de componentes principais e a dissimilaridade dos genÃtipos, poderÃo ser utilizados para orientar a seleÃÃo de genÃtipos promissores para possÃveis programas de melhoramento genÃtico. / The objective of this work was to evaluate fruits of nance (Byrsonima dealbata), from different genotypes, by means of the physical and physical-chemical characterization. Fruits of nance were collected of from genotypes of the three experimental station of EMBRAPA - Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa AgropecuÃria, in CearÃ, Brazil. Eighteen genotypes of nance, of which seven had been deriving of the Pacajus city (PAC0, PAC1, PAC2, PAC3, PAC5, PAC6, PAC7), four of the Fortaleza city (EM1, EM3, EM4, EM5) and seven of the Paraipaba city (PAR3, PAR4, PAR5, PAR7, PAR 9, PAR 11 and PAR 12), all in the State of the CearÃ. To evaluate the commercial potential of the genotypes joined and multivaried statistical analyses had been carried through. The genotype EM4 presented the greatest weight. For all the studied genotypes of nance, except EM3, were observed that the diameter is greater than the length, characterizing oblong fruits. The general average for vitamin C was of 61.58 mg/100 g. In general, the fruit is acid, with high levels of total soluble sugars, starch, total and soluble pectin and low levels of carotenoids and yellow flavonoids. The physical chemical characteristics analyzed presented high coefficients of determination and medium to high coefficients of repeatability therefore, needing a low number of measurements for prediction of the real value of the characteristics. The high values of the estimates of repeatability indicates that there is a genetic variability in this germplasm. The group analysis made by means of the Tocher Optimization, the analysis of main components and the dissimilarity of the genotypes, could be used to guide the election of promising genotypes on programs of genetic improvement.
