FundaÃÃo de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Cearà / O Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (PRONAF) tem como objetivo promover o desenvolvimento sustentÃvel do segmento rural composto pelos agricultores familiares ao proporcionar o aumento da capacidade produtiva, geraÃÃo de empregos, ampliaÃÃo da renda e, consequentemente, contribuir com a melhoria da qualidade de vida. Por meio de dados primÃrios, o presente estudo objetivou avaliar os efeitos do PRONAF B na qualidade de vida dos beneficiÃrios no municÃpio de TejuÃuoca â CE. Para tal, o estudo utilizou indicadores tais como: condiÃÃes de moradia, condiÃÃes sanitÃrias, saÃde, educaÃÃo, bens durÃveis, renda, transporte, alimentaÃÃo, comunicaÃÃo e lazer. Foram usadas no estudo anÃlises descritiva, tabular e o teste t-Student. A mudanÃa no nÃvel de vida dos beneficiÃrios apÃs a implantaÃÃo do Programa foi medida atravÃs da construÃÃo de um Ãndice de Qualidade de Vida (IQV). Os indicadores que mais contribuÃram para melhoria da qualidade de vida foram condiÃÃes sanitÃrias, bens durÃveis, transporte e alimentaÃÃo. Em contrapartida, a participaÃÃo do indicador lazer à pequena, porÃm estatisticamente significativa. No nÃvel intermediÃrio de contribuiÃÃo, estÃo os indicadores condiÃÃo de moradia, renda e comunicaÃÃo. O teste estatÃstico mostrou que em mÃdia os indicadores aumentaram depois do PRONAF, contudo para os indicadores saÃde e educaÃÃo, pode-se afirmar que nÃo houve diferenÃa significativa apÃs o Programa. O PRONAF promoveu um incremento na qualidade de vida dos beneficiÃrios e contribuÃu na mudanÃa de baixo, para mÃdio nÃvel de qualidade de vida. Contudo, sugere-se a utilizaÃÃo de novas estratÃgias que possibilitem uma melhor orientaÃÃo e acompanhamento dos crÃditos liberados. AlÃm disto, sugere-se uma capacitaÃÃo e conscientizaÃÃo dos tomadores de crÃdito, para que estes compreendam o microcrÃdito como instrumento de mudanÃa social / The National Program to Strengthen Family Agriculture (PRONAF) aims to promote the sustainable development of rural sector composed of farmers to provide increased productive capacity, employment generation, increase income and consequently contribute to improving the quality life. Through primary data, this study aimed to evaluate the effects of PRONAF B quality of life of beneficiaries in the municipality of TejuÃuoca - CE. To this end, the study used indicators such as housing, sanitation, health, education, durable goods, income, transportation, food, communication and leisure. Were used in the study analyzes descriptive, tabular and Student-t test. The change in standard of living of beneficiaries from the implementation of the Program was measured by constructing an Index of Quality of Life (IQV). The indicators that contributed most to improving the quality of life were sanitation, durable goods, transportation and meals. In contrast, the participation indicator leisure is small but statistically significant. At the intermediate level of contribution, are the indicators of housing condition, income and communication. The statistical test showed that on average the indicators increased after PRONAF, but for health and education indicators, it can be said that there was no significant difference after the Program. The PRONAF promoted an increase in quality of life of beneficiaries and contributed to the change of low to medium level of quality of life. However, it is suggested the use of new strategies that allow better guidance and monitoring of credit. Moreover, it is suggested that a training and awareness of the credit borrowers so that they understand the micro-credit as an instrument of social change
