Elastipapa es un modelo de negocio rentable y sostenible que busca introducir al
mercado una alternativa de plastilina de origen 100% natural, biodegradable, no toxico, libre
de gluten y a un precio bastante competitivo. Elastipapa utiliza una de las materias primas
más abundantes y poco aprovechadas en la industria peruana como es la papa.
Tiene carácter sostenible ya que brinda una fuente de ingreso alternativo para los
agricultores de papa de las comunidades de Huancayo, con potencial de masificarse a más
regiones productoras. Esto mediante el procesamiento de la papa y el uso más eficiente de los
recursos, utilizando mermas de la cosecha no aprovechadas por el mercado alimentario.
Además, por su precio más accesible, promoverá que más niños peruanos puedan desarrollar
sus actividades educativas de forma más lúdica y divertida. Se estima un VANS social de
S/6,890,405.
En términos de salud, al ser una plastilina exenta de sustancias tóxicas, Elastipapa
contribuye a la prevención de enfermedades y a la promoción de la salud, especialmente en
niños. La empresa también ofrece una alternativa libre de gluten para los niños celíacos, lo
que aborda una necesidad específica en la sociedad y fomenta la inclusión y el acceso a
oportunidades para un grupo de personas con necesidades especiales.
Económicamente, el proyecto Elastipapa es viable con una inversión total de
S/1'351,522, siendo el 40% recursos propios y el 60% financiado. El capital de trabajo es de
S/812,230 y el WACC del proyecto es del 17.15%. En un horizonte de vida del proyecto de 5
años, el VAN económico y financiero muestran valores superiores a los 4 millones de soles,
con TIR económica y financiera del 89% y 150%, respectivamente, valores por encima del
WACC del proyecto. Además, el tiempo de recuperación de la inversión se da en el segundo
año. En resumen, el proyecto es económicamente viable, con un margen de utilidad del 18%
al inicio y del 30% al final del quinto año. / Elastipapa is a profitable and sustainable business model that seeks to introduce to the
market an alternative to play dough made from 100% natural, biodegradable, non-toxic,
gluten-free materials, and at a competitive price. Elastipapa uses one of the most abundant
and underutilized raw materials in the Peruvian industry, which is the potato.
It has a sustainable character since it provides an alternative source of income for
potato farmers in the communities of Huancayo, with potential for expansion to more
producing regions. This is done by processing the potato and making more efficient use of
resources, utilizing harvest waste that is not used by the food market. Additionally, due to its
more accessible price, Elastipapa will promote that more Peruvian children can develop their
educational activities in a more fun and playful way. A social NPV of S/6,890,405 is
estimated.
In terms of health, being a play dough free of toxic substances, Elastipapa contributes
to the prevention of diseases and the promotion of health, especially in children. The
company also offers a gluten-free alternative for celiac children, addressing a specific need in
society and promoting inclusion and access to opportunities for a group of people with
special needs.
Economically, the Elastipapa project is viable with a total investment of S/1'351,522,
with 40% in own resources and 60% financed. The working capital is S/812,230, and the
project's WACC is 17.15%. In a project life horizon of 5 years, the economic and financial
VAN values are above four million soles, with economic and financial TIR of 89% and
150%, respectively, values above the project's WACC. Additionally, the investment recovery
time occurs in the second year. In summary, the project is economically viable, with a profit
margin of 18% at the beginning and 30% at the end of the fifth year.
