Previous issue date: 2012-11-28 / The research "Social Relations in State College João Barbosa Reis from 2010 to 2012" aims
to understand how social relations are formed among teachers, students and families and
how social relations affect the educational process of children, adolescents, and young
adults enrolled in the State College João Barbosa Reis, a public school in a peripheral
region, in a neighborhood that started from an urban settlement. The discussion approaches
historical context, social, and economic theory that drives changes which happened in
educational process in Brazil from the colonial period to the 1988 constitution and the 1996
Education Law (LDB).
We propose to discuss the relationship of labor and education and how they are to organize
constituted social relations. We also propose to debate how Out-of-School experience
interferes in formal education. / A pesquisa Relações Sociais no Colégio Estadual João Barbosa Reis de 2010 a
2012 tem o objetivo de conhecer como são constituídas as relações sociais entre
professores, estudantes e família e como as relações sociais interferem no processo
educacional de crianças, adolescentes, jovens e adultos matriculados no Colégio
Estadual João Barbosa Reis, uma escola pública de uma região periférica, de um
bairro que iniciou a partir de um assentamento urbano. A discussão perpassa pelo
contexto histórico, social, econômico e teórico que norteia as mudanças que
aconteceram no processo educacional no Brasil desde o período colonial até a
constituição de 1988 e a LDB de 1996.
Propomos a discutir as relações de trabalho e educação e como elas se organização
nas relações sociais constituídas, e quanto à vivência extraescolar interfere no
processo educacional formal.
