I förskolan idag strävar man efter att arbeta jämställt, vilket innebär att man utgår från varje individ. Man vill ge varje barn samma förutsättningar och chans till att utvecklas. Något som man jobbar mycket med är genus, vilket handlar om att i stället för att se könet så ska man se barnen och deras handlingar. Det jag ville med min undersökning var att titta på hur pedagoger agera i olika genusrelaterade situationer i förskolan. Om man kunde se någon skillnad i pedagogers agerande och varför de agerar som de gjorde. I min undersökning har jag utgått från en kvalitativ metod och använt mig av critical incident metoden. Genom intervju har jag presenterat tre olika dilemman där pedagogerna har fått berätta för mig hur de skulle ha agerat. Resultatet visar att beroende på vilken pedagogisk inriktning det finns på förskolan så påvisar pedagogerna ett mer eller mindre medvetet genusperspektiv i sitt agerande. Hur man agerar i olika situationer beror på hur genusmedveten man är som pedagog samt vilken syn man har på barn. / In preschool today we strive to work equal, which means to see each child as an individual. We want to give every child the same opportunities and chances to develop. Something you work with is gender, which is instead of looking at the sex you should look at the children and their actions. What I wanted with my research was to look at how preschool teachers acted in gender related situations in preschools. If I could see any differences in preshool teachers behavior and why they acted the way they did. My study has been based on a qualitative method and I have used a critical incident method. By interviews I have presented three different dilemmas where preshool teachers have told me how they would have acted. The results show that depending on the pedagogical approach that is used at the pre-school, teachers are showing a more or less consciously gender perspective in their behavior. How you act in different situations depends on how gender sensitive you are as a pre-school teacher and how you look at children.
