La presente investigación analiza los determinantes de la baja rentabilidad de los productores de café de la asociación Sierra Verde en comparación del mercado internacional, esto se realizará con el fin de observar los principales factores que inciden en la rentabilidad del Café en el distrito de Santo Tomas en el 2022, así se identificara cuál de los factores inciden en mayor medida para priorizarla frente a las demás, para ello se desarrollará el objetivo principal “determinar los factores de la rentabilidad del cultivo de café de los miembros de la Asociación Sierra Verde en el distrito de Santo Tomas”. La investigación es de tipo aplicada, desarrolla un enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño de la investigación es no experimental y de corte transversal. La población está conformada por los 217 asociados a Sierra Verde que operan en Santo Tomas y la muestra es de 133 Cafetaleros. Los resultados exponen que los parámetros del modelo están de acuerdo a la teoría económica, además todos los parámetros de manera individual del modelo resultaron estadísticamente significativos. Se Concluye afirmando que al existir una variación en S/. 1 en los costos de producción, el excedente del productor agrícola varia en S/. -0.448369. Por otro lado, al haber una variación de S/ 1 en los ingresos por cosecha, el excedente del productor agrícola varía en S/. 0.169507. Finalmente, al haber una variación de 1 punto en el rendimiento agrícola de quintales por hectárea producido, el excedente del productor agrícola varía en S/. 511.3810. / This research analyzes the determinants of the low profitability of the coffee producers of the Sierra Verde Association in comparison to the international market, this will be done in order to observe the main factors that affect the profitability of coffee in the district of Santo Tomas in 2022, thus identifying which of the factors have the greatest impact to prioritize it over the others, for this the main objective "to determine the factors of the profitability of coffee cultivation of the members of the Sierra Verde Association in the district of Santo Tomas" will be developed. The research is applied, develops a quantitative approach, the research design is non-experimental and cross-sectional. The population is made up of 217 Sierra Verde associates operating in Santo Tomas and the sample is 133 coffee growers. The results show that the parameters of the model are in agreement with the economic theory, in addition all the individual parameters of the model were statistically significant. It is concluded that when there is a variation of S/. 1 in production costs, the surplus of the agricultural producer varies by S/. -0.448369. On the other hand, when there is a variation of S/. 1 in harvest income, the surplus of the agricultural producer varies by S/. 0.169507.
