Assim, neste trabalho, constituiu-se como objetivo geral investigar as tendências pedagógicas de formação de professor que subjazem no Projeto Pedagógico de Curso do curso de Letras (PPC 2014), do Centro de Letras Comunicação e Artes da Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná, campus de Jacarezinho/PR (CLCA/CJ), e apontar características desse modelo de formação. As perguntas que serviram de norte para a pesquisa foram as seguintes: Qual(is) teoria(s) pedagógica(s) fundamenta(m) a construção do PPC 2014 do CLCA da UENP/CJ? E qual o perfil (tipo) de professor, fruto dessa formação? Como objetivos específicos, estabeleceram-se: a) identificar as tendências pedagógicas que fundamentam o PPC 2014 do curso de Letras do CLCA da UENP/CJ; b) sintetizar o perfil do futuro professor, fruto dessa formação; c) investigar a concepção de educação escolar de concluintes do ensino médio formados por egressos de cursos de Letras, cuja elaboração de currículo foi orientada pelas atuais DCNs; d) discutir se as teorias pedagógicas que fundamentam o PPC 2014 proporcionam condições para que o egresso assuma a docência de forma crítica, adotando os ideais de uma educação comprometida com o ensino e com a emancipação humana. Para tanto, buscou-se apresentar e discutir as concepções das diferentes teorias curriculares, teorias pedagógicas e questões relacionadas à mercadorização da educação escolar, no contexto atual, como elementos que circunscrevem a formação inicial de professores. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Studies about initial teachers education, as well as curriculum and pedagogical theories, have become recurrent in academic work, research groups, discussion forums, conferences etc. and have raised different positions. For this reason, the main goal of this work is to investigate the pedagogical trends in teachers education that underlie the Pedagogical Plan of the Course of Letras (PPC 2014), from the Center of Letras, Communication and Arts in the State University of North Paraná, campus in Jacarezinho∕PR (CLCA∕CJ), and to indicate the characteristics of this model of development. The questions that guided the present research were: Which pedagogical theories underlie the development of the PPC 2014 of the CLCA? And what is the profile (type) of teacher, resulting from this education? The specific goals were: a) to identify the pedagogical trends that underlie the PPC 2014 of the course of Letras at the CLCA; b) to summarize the profile of the future teacher, resulting from this education; c) to investigate high school graduates' concept of school education, considering those whose teachers graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Letras, which curriculum design was oriented by the current National Curricular Guidelines (DCNs); d) to discuss if the pedagogical theories underlying the PPC 2014 provide conditions for the egress to critically engage in teaching, adopting the ideals of an education committed to teaching and promoting human emancipation.
