The aim of this thesis is to examine the implementation process of the re-organisation reformof the Swedish police in 2015 and how it has impacted the efforts to implement the reformand how the police as an organisation was affected by the implementation process. This wasachieved through the review of agency documentation and decisions, as well as relevantresearch material. This empirical material is explained using a theoretical framework with afocus on implementation theory. Professional implementation and bureaucraticimplementation are the main implementation models used to analyse the empirical material.
