The objective of the research is to perform thematic (construct – about what?) and methodological (methods – how?) analysis of contents of researches, performed by Educational Management in the period from 1990 to 2005 m., published in noticed magazines and reveal the tendencies of these researches. In order to implement the objective of the present study of master, there was first of all performed operacionalisation of the researches of Educational Management on the grounds of scientific literature and documents, regulating educational activities; there were distinguished criteria of analysis of researches of Educational Management and on their ground there was prepared the instrument of research. The research was organised in conformity with harmonization of analysis of standardised and unstandardised content. There were analysed publications in the sphere of educational management in 152 scientific magazines: „Acta paedagogica Vilnensia“, „Pedagogika“, „Tiltai“ and „Socialiniai mokslai“ .
Upon completion of the research, it became clear that the researches of Educational Management develop rather out of continuity and do not cover all spheres of management. Authors of publications are mostly focused on the phenomenon of management itself and on various it’s aspects and other topical tendencies remain forgotten.
