_________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The present study proposes a reflection upon the laughter. To study the laughter it was created some allegories borrowed from the countless images and sounds that compose the contemporary life. When searching the laughter I came across questions that made me go through different roadways. In these roadways I deepen countless images and make new discoveries. In the first one, The Road, which is the road that I walk down with Federico Fellini, the laughter relates to the clown's figure which is present in the relationship of the characters Geosomina and Zampano who are itinerant artists of circus. On the second road, the laughter is studied in the dance of circles which is present in the paintings Infantile Dance of Circles by Cândido Portinari, and Allegories and Effects of the Good Government, by Ambrogio Lorenzetti. On the third road, I report myself to the history of laughter and reflect
about the laughter at the present time, here I walk by the images and sounds of the films The Name of the Rose, based on Umberto Eco's homonymous work, and The Icicle Thief, by Maurizio Nichetti. On the fourth road, I observe the characteristics of different laughters and its ambiguities going through the universe of the image of Bosch in the work Christ Carrying the Cross. On the fifth road, I study the festive laughter while entering the work The Burial of the Sardine, by Goya.
