xiv, 139 h. : il. ; 30 cm / Este documento plantea conseguir un proceso de transformación digital para la industria aseguradora en Colombia, promoviendo programas definitivos en materia de educación financiera y desarrollo de oportunidades de crecimiento por medio de la creación de nuevas pólizas de seguros; buscando siempre innovar y estar a la vanguardia de los diferentes productos que se ofrecen a nivel mundial, logrando de esta forma contribuir significativamente al crecimiento económico del país. Conociendo que la industria aseguradora en Colombia está completamente regulada por el Gobierno Nacional, quien determina las condiciones para que las aseguradoras, tanto nacionales como extranjeras, puedan operar en el país, contando con la supervisión de la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia y el respaldo de la Federación de Aseguradores Colombianos, Fasecolda, agremiación que además de representar las aseguradoras respalda e impulsa su actividad en la economía nacional. Si bien la actividad aseguradora en el país ha presentado un comportamiento con tendencia a crecer, es evidente que comparado con otros países de la región la actividad aseguradora en Colombia aún tiene espacio para crecer en términos de penetración, densidad y participación en la economía, sin mencionar la oportunidad de crecimiento asociada a alcanzar un mayor nivel de participación de las ramas de seguros que actualmente se comercializan en Colombia. Todo esto, dando como recomendación el incentivo de la asistencia de más personas a los programas de educación financiera, fortaleciendo y manteniendo la relación entre el gremio asegurador a través de Fasecolda, ampliando la participación en construcciones y proyectos estatales de vías e infraestructura y por ultimo mejorando los canales de comunicación con el mercado, generando mayores innovaciones y nuevos productos útiles para el público final / The purpose of this document is to achieve a process of digital transformation for the Colombian insurance industry, promoting definitive programs on financial education and development of growth opportunities through the creation of new insurance policies; looking to innovate and be at the front line of the different products offered worldwide, thus making a significant contribution to the economic growth of the country. Considering that the insurance industry in Colombia is completely regulated by the National Government, which determines the conditions for national and foreign insurers to operate in the country, with the supervision of the Superintendencia Financiera and the backing of the Federación de Aseguradores Colombianos, Fasecolda, an association that, in addition to representing the insurers, supports and drives its activity in the national economy. Although the insurance activity in the country has shown a tendency to grow, it is evident that, compared to other countries in the region insurance activity in Colombia still has room to grow in terms of penetration, density and participation in the economy, in addition to the opportunity for growth, associated with achieving a higher level of participation of the branches of insurance that are currently commercialized in Colombia.
