The companies need a information adjusted for your activities, causes the development of the information systems (IS). The investments carried through for the companies in this area have increased significantly, for this become necessary to analyze the factors that explain the use of the information systems. The factors become related with behavior and attitude of the individuals front the technology and the adjustment of this with the executed task. Knowing that exist particularitities in each hierarchic level and the executed tasks is different in each level, this study asks: If exists difference of use the information systems between the hierarchic levels? This survey objective to investigate the factors that explain the use of the IS in the accomplishment of the activities of the different hierarchic levels. Two hundred
and thirty six responded the questionnaires, they are employees of a retail company, which use the IS to carry through the tasks. To understand the use of the IS, the
determinative variable had been analyzed: perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, intention of use, fit between task and technology. In the company, the use is not determined by these factors, being thus, is observed that other aspects not contemplated for the research exist that intervene with the use of the IS. The results had pointed that difference of use of the systems exists in accordance with the hierarchic level, being that the individuals of the operational level use the IS, on average, 10 hours more the too much levels. Beyond this aspect, it was verified that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, also, had demonstrated differences between the hierarchic levels, being that the management level perceives these factors better. For the constructs fit between the task and the technology and the intention of use were not identified difference between the hierarchic levels / A crescente necessidade das empresas de informações precisas e adequadas às suas atividades, acarretam no desenvolvimento dos sistemas de informações (SI). Os investimentos realizados pelas empresas, nesta área, têm aumentado significativamente. Desta forma, faz-se necessário analisar os fatores que explicam o uso dos sistemas de informações. Tais fatores relacionam-se ao comportamento e
atitude dos indivíduos frente à tecnologia e do ajuste desta com a tarefa executada. Sabendo-se que existem particularidades em cada nível hierárquico, quanto às
tarefas executadas, tem-se como problemática deste estudo: Existe diferença de uso dos sistemas de informações entre os níveis hierárquicos? Caracterizando-se por uma pesquisa descritiva do tipo survey, com o objetivo de investigar fatores que explicam a utilização dos SI pelos diferentes níveis hierárquicos. Foram aplicados 236 questionários aos funcionários de uma empresa de varejo, os quais utilizam o SI
para realizar suas tarefas. Para entender o uso dos SI, foram analisadas os fatores determinantes: facilidade de uso percebida, utilidade percebida, intenção de uso, ajuste entre tarefa e tecnologia. Na empresa em estudo, o uso não é determinado por estes fatores, sendo assim, observa-se que existem outros aspectos não contemplados pela pesquisa que interferem na utilização dos SI. Os resultados apontaram que existe diferença de uso dos sistemas de acordo com o nível
hierárquico, sendo que os indivíduos do nível operacional utilizam o SI, em média, 10 horas a mais que os demais níveis. Além deste aspecto, verificou-se que os determinantes de uso facilidade de uso e utilidade percebida, também
demonstraram diferenças entre os níveis hierárquicos, sendo que o nível gerencial percebe melhor estes fatores. Para os construtos ajuste entre a tarefa e a tecnologia e a intenção de uso não foram identificadas diferenças entre os níveis hierárquicos
