Previous issue date: 2017-03-21 / The dissertation focuses on the migration of rural youths who attend higher education in the interior of the State of Paraná. The research object is rural young people who attend higher education at the Federal University of Southern Frontier (UFFS) Campus Realeza PR. The objective is to identify the possible relations existing between the social representations of these rural youngsters about migratory processes and the higher education in that university. It is considered that the fact of young people stays or leaves the rural environment is related (although not exclusively) to the way in which he represents this decision. In this sense, we believe in the possibility of identifying trends in migratory processes of rural young people based on the social representations of the subjects. In order to achieve the field research proposal, with data collection for the questionnaire technique, which were applied to the rural young people who attend the initial and final years of UFFS undergraduate courses, with a view to comparing the variables through of the time. / A dissertação tem como tema a migração de jovens rurais que frequentam o ensino superior no interior do Estado do Paraná. O objeto de pesquisa são jovens rurais que frequentam o ensino superior na Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS) Campus Realeza PR. O objetivo é identificar e analisar as relações possíveis existentes entre as representações sociais destes jovens rurais sobre processos migratórios e a formação superior na referida universidade. Considera-se que o fato de o jovem permanecer ou sair do meio rural relaciona-se também (embora não exclusivamente) à forma como ele representa essa decisão. Neste sentido, acredita-se na possibilidade de identificar tendências sobre processos migratórios de jovens rurais a partir das representações sociais destes sujeitos. Para a consecução da proposta foi utilizada pesquisa de campo, com coleta de dados através da técnica de questionário, os quais foram aplicados aos jovens rurais que frequentam os anos iniciais e finais dos cursos de graduação da UFFS, tendo em vista a verificação comparativa das variáveis através do tempo.
