Bilderna analyseras sedan med fokus på symbolistiska tendenser, återkommande teman och influenser från andra konstnärer. / This paper deals with the solitude motif of the artist Ivar Arosenius. His solitude pictures are divided into different categories according to subject and sentiment. The images are then analyzed with a focus on symbolistic tendencies, recurring themes and influences from other artists.
