Det här är ett projekt som undersöker ett nytt sätt för bostäder att utformas. Hyresägenheter med fler rum, där kontraktet kan delas upp mellan de boende. Samtidigt värnas arkitektoniska kvalitéer, som burspråk i varje rum. För att minimera de uppvärmda allmänna ytorna i byggnaden går trapphuset och hissen utomhus, och binder samman lägenheterna med en slags loftbalkong. Varje våningsplan får sålunda en mötesplats där grannar kan socialisera. Byggnaden har en offentlig gång genom sig, för att behålla den ofta använda rörelse mellan St. Göransgatan och parken som idag existerar. I källaren har byggnaden tagit i anspråk den yta som idag innehåller rulltrappa upp till gatunivå från tunnelbanans biljetthall. Uppgången flyttas till andra sidan gatan, där en trevligare plats att anlända till Stadshagen på skapas. / This is a project that examines the possibilities of a new kind of cheap rental apartments. The apartments contains several rooms, where the contract can be split between the habitants. Still, the arcitectural qualities are kept through nice windows in every room etc. To minimize the warmed up spaces in the building, the staircase and elevator runs outdoors, connecting the apartments with a balcony. Every floor therefore gets a nice place for socializing neighbours inbetween. The building has a public passage, to keep the often used connection between the street and the park. In the basement the building has taken the space that today is used as elevator-staircase from the subway, and made it into laundry and storage space. The subway exit is moved to the other side of the street, where it creates a nicer place to first meet Stadshagen.
