Previous issue date: 2006 / Resumo: Neste trabalho, apresento um estudo de caso sobre a função de exercícios de práticas escolares de linguagem ¿ leitura, produção textual e análise lingüística ¿ na construção de alunos como aprendizes de leitura e de escrita, durante uma intervenção pedagógica realizada numa turma de 6a série da rede estadual de ensino, na cidade de Campinas, interior do Estado de São Paulo. Esses alunos são identificados na escola em que estudam como defasados na aprendizagem, o que justifica a separação dos mesmos numa turma exclusiva para recuperação da aprendizagem. Um primeiro pressuposto teórico que perpassa a investigação realizada corresponde à assunção da sala de aula de língua materna como um espaço complexo, no sentido de ser composto pela imprevisibilidade de ações e de retroações desencadeadas por atores de natureza humana e não-humana. Um segundo pressuposto corresponde à inserção desta pesquisa no campo transdisciplinar dos estudos aplicados da linguagem, pressupondo, portanto, a mobilização de categorias teórico-analíticas de diferentes disciplinas para a construção dos exercícios de práticas de linguagem como objetos de investigação desta pesquisa. Os objetivos da investigação apresentada são identificar e descrever (i) as categorias caracterizadoras das noções teóricas de texto e de gênero textual, informadoras dos exercícios de práticas escolares de linguagem; (ii) as funções e os modos de funcionamento de atores humanos e não-humanos, na implementação desses exercícios na turma mencionada. A pesquisa-ação e a análise interpretativa dos dados são as metodologias utilizadas respectivamente para gerar e analisar os dados de pesquisa. Como resultado da investigação, destaco, por um lado, que, dentre as categorias suporte, função e construção composicional, caracterizadoras dos gêneros textuais, as duas últimas são as categorias mais focalizadas nos exercícios analisados. Por outro lado, em função das necessidades do momento, os usos lingüísticos responsáveis pela caracterização do texto são pouco focalizados nos exercícios. Os atores não-humanos, acionados durante a implementação dos exercícios, participam diretamente na mobilização das categorias caracterizadoras do gênero e do texto, informadoras dos exercícios propostos nas aulas. O desvio desses exercícios, provocado pela ação do livro didático, em relação ao planejamento da intervenção pedagógica, ilustra a participação bastante marcante dos atores não-humanos, nas aulas de língua materna focalizadas na pesquisa / Abstract: In this thesis I show a case study on the function of school exercise of language practices ¿ reading, writing and linguistic analysis ¿ in the construction of students as learners of writing and reading. This investigation is restricted to a pedagogic intervention in a sixth grade school class, in a public state school, in the city of Campinas, country side of São Paulo, Brazil. These students are identified in the school that they study as gap learners, what justifies their separation in an exclusive classroom for learning recuperation. A first theoretical presuppose that crosses the current investigation is the assumption of the classroom as a complex space that is justified by the unpredictability of action and retroaction caused by actors of human and nonhuman nature. A second presuppose is the insertion of this research in the transdisciplinar field of applied studies of language that presumes the mobilization of theoretical-analytical categories from different subjects to the construction of the exercises of language practices exercises as object of investigation of this research. The aims of this investigation are to identify and to describe (i) the categories that characterize the theoretical notions of text and textual genre that current underlie the exercises of language practices; (ii) the functions and the ways of working of human and nonhuman actors, in the implementation of these exercises in the classroom mentioned. The action research and the interpretative analysis of data are the methodologies utilized respectively to generate and to analyze the data. As the result of the investigation I detach, on the one hand that, among the support, function and compositional construction categories, responsible by the characterization of textual genre, the last two categories being the most focused in the exercises analyzed. On the other hand, due to the necessities of the moment on the classroom, the linguistics uses that are responsible by the characterization of the text are not sufficiently focused in the exercises proposed. The nonhuman actors, mobilized during the implementation of the school exercises, exert direct participation in the mobilization of the categories that characterize the genre and the text. The diversion of these exercises in relation to the planning of pedagogic intervention, provoked by the action of text book, illustrates the strong participation of the nonhuman actors on the mother language classes focused throughout the research / Doutorado / Ensino e Aprendizagem da Lingua Moderna / Doutor em em Linguistica Aplicada
